Victor C summer slam was held this weekend at Markham's PanAm Centre and some of our players participated. Josh came in the tournament seeded 3/4, he unfortunately lost his first match to who eventually would become the champion in the U15 boys singles category. However, Josh came back and won his remaining matches to capture gold in the consolation round. Great job Josh! This past weekend, Aashritha competed in Elson's badminton tournament held in Scarborough. This weekend our kids displayed extreme grit and performance as they competed in the Junior C's at TJ's sports complex. They all played amazingly and reminded other players why they're one of the top ones to watch out for. The weekend was jam packed with hundreds of matches to be played and spread across various age categories. The place was filled with over 200 athletes and spectators cheering on their favourite players. One particular team of Danny and Aashritha stood out as they managed to fight hard and capture the gold in the U13 mixed doubles category, congratulations to Danny and Aashritha.
