Victor Ontario B #2 (OBA)

This past weekend our athletes competed at the second Ontario B tournament of the season held at Ontario Badminton Academy.

Josh in the U15 singles category had a tough first match as he lost in 3 sets against Michael. In consolations he faced the no. 1 seed Lestyn who also lost to Michael, but in the end Lestyn still proved to be too much and Josh lost eventually despite putting up a good fight.

In U15 boys doubles category, Josh was paired with Ian through partner request. In the first match they lost again to Michael along with his partner Kyle. In consolation, Josh and Ian fought through to the finals and only losing by a narrow of margin to Sreethan and Ethan. Great Job Josh & Ian!

In U13 singles, Daniel narrowly won the first match in 3 sets against Zymond, in second round he faced his partner and no. 1 seed Jayden. Jayden was still a bit too much for Daniel as he lost in the quarter finals.

In U13 boys doubles, Daniel and Jayden partnered one last time before Jayden moves onto the Ontario A classification. And did they go out with a bang. Both of them played well and went all the way to the finals and eventually winning their 2nd gold medal together making the entire process look so effortless.

Congratulations to all our players for making the podium!
